Tip of the Day

Using the AC on a hot summer day

The interior of the car gets heated so much during these summer days &
it’s very hard to adjust the first few minutes inside the car. Most
people will turn on the AC as soon they enter the vehicle to cool it
down. But, what actually happens by doing so is – Due to the heat, the
car’s dashboard, seats & other interior parts will heat up & emits
gases which can be toxic if inhaled for a prolonged time.

So, never switch on the AC right away & give some time for the air
trapped inside the vehicle to escape. The fastest way to remove the
hot air from the car is to open all windows, put the air blower on
full blast & aim the air vents lower. As hot air always rises, pushing
the air from the bottom helps the stale hot air to escape faster.
Drive the car like this for a while to ensure that there is enough air
circulation & then only switch on the AC. Using the AC in
re-circulation mode is more economical & cools the vehicle faster.
