 Transmission care

The transmission can be easy to maintain, but also terribly pricey to
replace. Caring a few things will surely add more life to the system.

Check the fluids – Keeping an eye on the fluids is one of the most
effective ways to take care of the transmission. Often times, low
fluid levels & leaks are the main cause for problems so identifying
such an issue before it becomes an expensive repair is the ideal
solution.

Keep it in the right gear – Be aware about which gear you are riding
and the strength & weakness of it. Always make sure that the gear that
you have selected is the right one for the road ahead.

Shift only after you stop – When shifting from 1st gear to reverse or
vice versa, make sure that you come to a complete stop before shifting
in & out of the gear.

Address repairs quickly – If you notice any signs of transmission
issues, then don’t delay in having your vehicle checked. Failure to
promptly address these concerns could result in a far more serious &
costly problem.
