Driving while intoxicated

A lot of people worldwide drive after having a few drinks. Many say
“What’s the harm, I got home safely & no one was hurt”. Just because
someone made it safely back home doesn’t mean that it was the right
thing to do. Driving a vehicle after a couple of drinks not only puts
your life at risk, but also the lives of all those who come across.

Intoxication reduces the reaction time & coordination which results in
foolish choices. Alcohol affects judgment, depth perception as well as
vital motor skills required to drive safely. It’s easy to think that
you are driving like you used to be, but in reality it won’t be so.
Hence, driving under influence is not only a terrible idea but it’s
also a crime.

If you’ve been drinking or planning to drink, ask a friend for a ride
or call a cab. The mild inconvenience of taking a cab home is nothing
compared to the disastrous consequences of driving drunk.
