Tip of the day
The engine has a lot of moving parts that needs to be well lubricated and the oil serves that function. Engine oil is a vital component as it clean, lubricate & prevent metal to metal contact. As you drive, the quality of the oil gradually degrades. It will lose its lubricating quality and carbonize under high temperature & pressure.
Hence, if the oil is changed periodically it will keep the engine clean & well lubricated. If you continue driving long past the oil interval, then the friction inside the engine will gradually increases. This will result in mechanical wear and the engine slowly gets contaminated with carbon deposits known as sludge.
Sludge will cause severe damage which in worst case scenario requires replacing the engine. So, always follow the periodic maintenance chart to keep your vehicle clean, healthy & safe
