Tip of The Day

Caring the cooling system

Cooling system is a vital section of the vehicle & is one of the
leading causes of vehicle breakdowns. The most noticeable symptoms of
a damaged cooling system are engine overheating & fluid leaks.

If the vehicle is overheating, the first thing to do is to check for
stains where it’s parked on. Coolant fluid is green in color, so if
there are any such stains under the vehicle then it means there is a
leak somewhere. If you suspect that the vehicle has a coolant leak,
open the hood & check for any sign of fluid leak from the engine,
radiator or hoses.

Coolant leak can also be internal. The engine will be overheating, but
there won’t be any such visible leaks as mentioned above. The coolant
may be getting mixed with the engine oil or either getting burned.

In both of these situations, seek professional help immediately from a
Popular Hyundai service center to ensure that the vehicle remains
properly cooled & healthy for a long long time.
