Safe & responsible driving

Being a safe & responsible driver demands a combination of knowledge,
skill & attitude. Driving is generally based on three factors -
visibility, space & communication.

Visibility is all about seeing and be seen. Always be aware about the
traffic in front, sides & back of your car. Keep your eyes constantly
moving and expect conditions in advance rather than at the moment that
they happen, as the further you see the less surprised you will be.
Make sure that the other drivers can see you while you are overtaking
or taking a turn.

 The space around your vehicle is important and it gives you time to
respond accordingly. Always leave a cushion of space on the front back
and sides of the vehicle.

Communication with the road comes in several different forms. Use the
horn, lights and indicators when needed to grab the attention if
necessary. Understanding the languages of your vehicle, the road and
the people around is the core of communication while driving.
