To stay in control at the curves

                                            

Curvy roads can cause a lot of trouble if they are not driven with
extra caution especially during the rainy days. The physics behind
this is, while the vehicle is on the curve, the acceleration pushes
the vehicle forward & at the same time inertia on the body as it
travels around the curve. These 2 conflicting movements can result in
skidding.

If skidding happens, immediately take your foot off the accelerator &
the brake as it can make the skid worst. Keep the hands loosely on the
steering wheels with no hard motions.

Within no time, the vehicle will slow down.  Then lightly apply the
brakes & steer the vehicle. Don’t slam on the brakes but gently pump
it. If your vehicle have ABS then do not pump the brakes, but apply
regular but gentle pressure.

It’s very important not to panic and to keep calm & think clearly.
Consider your options quickly as possible and regain control of the
vehicle.
